Yesterday, LA-based soul, psychedelic band Chicano Batman took the desert by storm for an unforgettable performance at the hottest music festival in town– which took over the sky. As part of their set, the band performed their inspiring rendition of ‘This Land is Your Land,’ released earlier this year as part of Johnnie Walker’s campaign Keep Walking America , aimed to celebrate the cultural progress and diversity.

During their set, a fleet of planes soared through the air to continuously skywrite #KeepWalkingAmerica over the festival grounds. An electric performance by Chicano Batman had festival go-ers singing along embracing the messages of unity and inclusivity as they waved their hands in the air and gazing up at the message in the sky.

As one of the only Latino bands on the bill at the most sought after music festival, Chicano Batman made their voices heard by singing ‘This Land Is Your Land’ in both English and Spanish powerfully communicating the core message that America has always been and should always remain an inclusive nation. The song represents people of all different backgrounds and cultures who are striving to build their own American dream and this was the perfect stage to get the message out at a time we need it most.
